Astros Talk for Kyle

The Astros have been in a dogfight (no pun intended for all those Vick fans) this year for the cellar of the NL central. This is the same NL central that is the worst division in baseball. Currently the Astros are 13 under .500 and 12 games out of first place. They have won 6 of 10 but lost yesterday 9-4 to the Fathers. Their 2B Mark Loretta is currently being shop around to many would be takers and there was talk of closer Brade Lidge moving but that has cooled as of late. Ex-Ranger Carlos Lee is having a great year batting around .300 and has 84 RBIs and has many people know Craig Biggio hit his 3,000 hit several weeks back. He also announce that his last game will be Sept. 30 in which he would like to play catcher one last time.

There is Astros talk and like I said in my first blog I will discuss topics that are brought up, but that might be my last Astros talk for awhile. Honestly, who likes the Astros?

Me and the little man were watching the game when Carlos Lee had that 3 home run (including 1 grand slam) night. I saw that Biggio announced retirement...sad to see him go but glad that he's ending it well.
The Astros have been struggling since the World Series season two years ago. That's somewhat bad, but somewhat good, since the ticket prices will go down (just in time for me to move a few miles from Minute Maid Stadium...).
Where's the battle for the silver boot going to be held next year?

Ticket prices never go down and concerning the silver boot: Three games in Arlington and three in houston that's the way it always is. Put up a pic of you and Biggio that way everyone knows who you are.

Ticket prices sure went up after the World Series year...I'm still hopeful about their imminent fall.

You'll have to come down and stay with us next time the Rangers come to H-town ;)

I'll call Craig up and see what I can do about that picture.

Hey I want to hear your take on the Mavs possibly getting C-Webb, and Cowboys training camp.

But the question remains...which team, Astros or Rangers has the prettiest uniforms?

...this is clearly what I am basing my choice of team on...dumdumdum....answer pending...
